Heat Detector
The MHG 386 Heat Detector is a self-acting detector of the Electric Fire Detection and Alarm System LITES

The MHG 386 Heat Detector is a self-acting detector of the Electric Fire Detection and Alarm System LITES, intended for the automatic fire alarm signalling as a heat detector responding to an elevated temperature level rising before or during a fire.

The MHG 386 Heat Detector is manufactured in so-called flow design. It is intended especially for explosion hazard environments, namely in connection with the C.I.E.‘s MHU 106, MHU 108, MHU 113, MHU 109, MHU 110 and MHU 111. With the MHU 106 C.I.E. the Detector may be used in conjuction with the JSM-4 loop. Connection to the non-addressable MHU 109 C.I.E., or to the analogue MHU 110 (MHU 111) C.I.E. is to do by means of the MHY 409 Addressing Unit. Connection to a fire loop is to carry out by force of the MHY 703 Mountin Base, eventually in environs without explosion hazard by the help of the MHY 713 Mounting Base. As parallel signalling the light fittings MHS 408, MHS 409 (MHS 405, MHS 407) may be used.

The Detector may work:

  • in environs with combustible gas and steam explosion hazard according to ČSN 33 2320
  • in environs with combustible dust explosion hazard according to ČSN 33 2330
  • in environs with explosion hazard of explosives according to ČSN 33 2340

For its use in the Electric Fire Detection and Alarm System the Detector is liable to the conformity examination according to law No. 22/1997 Sb., in wording law No. 71/2000 Sb. and the relevant orders of the government. For the use in environs with explosion hazard the Detector is liable to the homologation of the FTZÚ (Physiotechnical Testing Institute) Ostrava - Radvanice A0 210. The Detector is constructed in compliance with the ČSN EN 54-7, B-class standard specifications, excepting the article 4.5 by reason of its usage as a substitute for the older MHG 381 type in the current Electric Fire Detection and Alarm System.

Notice: Outside environments with explosion hazard the MHG 386 Detector may be connected also to the MHU 103 C.I.E.
